We Know You have Questions -Here are a few that we hear alot!

Elective ultrasounds provided by Hello Sweet Baby have no medical purpose, and no medical reports are provided. Our only intent is to allow you and your family to share an unforgettable experience with your baby.


A: An elective 2D, 3D, or 4D ultrasound is a non-medical scan designed for bonding, keepsakes, and an unforgettable experience with your baby. It’s not a substitute for medical ultrasounds with your doctor.


A: Medical ultrasounds focus on diagnosis. Ours focus on creating a relaxed, memorable bonding experience with more time and better keepsake images.


6 Weeks to 37 Weeks

  • Pregnancy is not easily seen before 6 Weeks and past 37 Weeks we are not likely to get good facial shots. The baby is already head down and engaged.

  • No free return/discount if booked too early.


A: Yes — over 30 years of research shows no known harm when performed with standard equipment and settings.


A:

  • Complete intake questions & waiver online before your appointment or we will not be able to scan you. 
  • Plan to arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment. If you are late those minutes will be taken from your allotted scan time. 
  • For active baby: cold/sugary drink 15 min before.
  • Same-day bookings may have less clear images if you’re not well-hydrated for several days before
  • We can not complete your scan if you have small children (under 5) with no one to assist you to look after them. Please make arrangements to bring someone or find other arrangements for them during your scan. Its a safety risk for your child to be unattended at our location.
  • Please dress accordingly we need to access your belly, its not suggested to wear one piece outfits,  wearing loose fitting pants or bottoms and loose fitting top will work the best for your scan.
  • Our room accommodates 5 guests (children included)


A:

  • 6–13 Weeks: heartbeat & early shape

  • 14–19 Weeks: gender & full-body

  • 20–26 Weeks: best mix of body & face

  • 28–36 Weeks: detailed close-ups

  • Anterior placenta? Not a big problem if position/fluid are good.

  • 36+ Weeks? Usually fine if position/fluid are good.


A:

  • If we can’t confirm baby’s gender at your appointment, we’ll invite you back for a free double-check scan.
  • Planning a reveal? We have cute cardstock & envelopes if you want the results kept a surprise.
  • Just let your tech know at check-in & we won’t tell you bedside.

A: We’ll try our best! Image quality depends on mothers MAXIMUM hydration, baby’s position, mom’s body mass index, and amniotic fluid levels. If we can’t see baby’s face at all, we’ll offer a free re-do. The best time for the 3D/4D images is 24-34 weeks gestation.


A:

  • Payment: Cash, Hello Sweet Baby gift cards, contactless, & debit, Cashapp or Zelle. Cash payments get a 3% discount
  • Appointment required for all services. Payment is collected at the end of the session. Tipping is appreciated.
  • Cancellations: last minute cancellations/rescheduling. Missed appt = $60 deposit to rebook.
  • We do offer Sneek Peak DNA Tests at our location for $129.00
